Biography
Alberto Robles-Enciso received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in computer science from the University of Murcia, in 2019 and 2020, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree (cum laude) in computer science from the same university in 2025. His Ph.D. dissertation focused on the analysis and design of solutions for deploying active IoT and Edge nodes within the Computing Continuum.
From 2021 to 2025, he was a Seneca Pre-Doctoral Researcher with the Department of Information and Communications Engineering, University of Murcia, where he participated in several research projects, including PHOENIX, ONOFRE, and FLUIDOS. He is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher and his research interests include intelligent orchestration, machine learning, Internet of Things, edge computing, the computing continuum, and energy optimization.
