Biography
Ekam Puri Nieto obtained a degree in Computer Science from the University of Murcia, with an undergraduate thesis on differential privacy and k-map applied in the context of cyber threat intelligence. He is currently working as a security researcher for the institution's Information and Communications Engineering department, focusing on privacy-preserving CTI sharing and CoA playbook enactment.
His main research interests focus around CTI sharing, attribute obfuscation, AI planning engines and models, and threat mitigation strategies, with an engineering focus on functional programming applied over immutable and persistent data structures. Ekam has been involved in several Horizon Europe initiative projects such as ERATOSTHENES, Resilmesh, EMPYREAN, and LICORICE.
