Ismael Hernández Alarcón
Biography
Ismael Hernández Alarcón holds a degree in Computer Science from the University of Murcia, where he completed a bachelor’s thesis on the evaluation of large language models for intrusion detection systems. He is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Computational Engineering & Industrial Mathematics.
During his undergraduate studies, Ismael completed an Erasmus year at Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt in Germany, focusing on artificial intelligence algorithms. Professionally, he has worked as a simulation developer at Airbus Defence and Space in Germany and as a software developer at Capgemini in Spain. He is currently working as a researcher at the University of Murcia, where his interests center on agentic AI applied to cybersecurity, AI-assisted intrusion detection, and using RAG to improve LLM performance.
