Biography
Antonio Ruiz Martínez holds a PhD in Computer Science and is an Associate Professor in the Department of Information and Communications Engineering at the University of Murcia (UMU) and Coordinator of Information Technologies at the UMU Vice-Rectorate for Strategy and Digital University.
His research focuses on security, privacy, and educational technology. He has participated in more than ten internationally funded research projects and thirteen nationally funded ones along with eight research contracts. His work has been published in over sixty international journals and conferences. He contributed to the organization of conferences such as ADHOC NOW and JENUI, served on technical committees for more than forty-five conferences and acted as a reviewer and editorial board member for several international journals. He is also a Senior Member of IEEE.
In academic management, he previously served as Vice Dean of Quality and Teaching Innovation of the UMU Faculty of Computer Science and is currently a member of the CRUE Digitalization Working Group on Online Training and Educational Technologies (FOLTE).
