Enrique Mármol Campos

Biography

Enrique Mármol Campos is a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Information and Communications Engineering at the Faculty of Computer Science of the University of Murcia. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and a Master’s degree in Advanced Mathematics, and in 2024 he obtained his PhD with Sobresaliente cum laude with a dissertation focused on federated learning (FL) for cybersecurity in IoT.

He is currently employed as a postdoctoral researcher on the REMINDER project, working to enhance the security and privacy of federated settings, and has completed two international research stays: one at the University of Western Macedonia in Kozani (Greece) and another at the Austrian Institute of Technology in Vienna (Austria). In addition, he coordinates several undergraduate thesis projects (TFGs).
